REMOTE TRAINING WITH DARTA MEDICAL |

| Doctors and their Staff find it much easier to use the full range of Medical Director and PracSoft features when they have had appropriate training. This is particularly true for beginners. Our services are readily available to those in the main centres or those able to organise a workshop for a number of doctors, but Rural GP's and the “time and traffic challenged” have missed out. Not any more! |

WHAT IS REMOTE TRAINING? |
|
Lessons consist of a one-to-one training session with a DARTA Trainer on a chosen topic. You and the trainer share the same screen, keyboard and mouse using thin client technology from gotomeeting.com (check it out!). At the same time, you are talking to the trainer on the phone thus allowing a combination of visual and oral communication. It effectively simulates having a trainer looking over your shoulder in your room. You do not even have to have MD installed on your training machine.

WHAT DO YOU NEED TO ACCESS REMOTE TRAINING? |

| A PC, a telephone and an internet connection (broadband preferred but dial up will work as well. |

| $110 per hour incl GST (discounts for bulk purchases) |

WHAT ABOUT SECURITY? |
|
Gotomeeting meets all currently accepted security standards and exceeds most government requirements. Further information is available on their website. You have control at all times and any actions by our trainers are visible to you, in the same way that any actions by you in the “teaching” database and screen are visible to the trainer. You will be trained on the presenter’s “teaching” database which you share on your screen.
If you are doing the training from a computer which has access to your “live” Medical Director or PracSoft, you have the option of permitting the presenter to share your own screen which allows our trainers to trouble shoot and teach on your own system. |
